Why get a website for your business?

While it’s a fact that many businesses manage just fine on social media and with face-to-face sales, a website can boost your brand and increase revenue.

With a website that’s designed from the ground up, tailored to your brand, you’ll have a platform that’s consistently accessible and easy to manage for your business, granting you greater autonomy and can instill trustworthiness in your customers.

Online Presence and Credibility

In today's digital age, having a website is essential for establishing an online presence. It's often the first place potential customers look for information about a business. A well-designed website can make your business appear more credible and trustworthy.

24/7 Accessibility

Unlike physical stores, a website is open 24/7, allowing customers to access information about your products or services at any time. This can lead to increased sales and customer satisfaction, especially for businesses with international customers or different time zones.

Marketing and Branding

A website serves as a powerful marketing tool. You can showcase your products or services, share customer testimonials, and provide valuable content through blogs or articles. It's also an excellent platform for building and reinforcing your brand identity.

Reach a Wider Audience

With a website, your business can reach a global audience. You're not limited to a specific geographic location, which can significantly expand your customer base. This is especially important for businesses looking to expand beyond their local area.

Customer Engagement

Engage with your customers in various ways in one place. You can offer online support, live chat, and collect valuable feedback through forms and surveys. Additionally, e-commerce websites allow customers to make purchases and track orders online, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Data and Analysis

Websites can help gather valuable data about customer behaviour and preferences, enabling you to make informed decisions and tailor your products or services to meet the specific needs of your audience.

What's the process?

Knowing your business

Getting to know your business is the most important step in the web design process. It sets the foundation for everything that follows and is the key to creating a website that aligns to your unique objectives. brand identity, and the customers you wish to target.

Content delivery

The key to any project’s success is ensuring I have content, images, logos, colour pallettes, and other information you want displayed on your site as soon as possible. This way, I can begin laying out the content in a way that’s as close as possible to the final product.

Initial draft

I’ll show you a first draft of the design which you’ll need to approve, which will allow me to continue on with the rest of the site until completion. This initial first draft may only be a single page or a collection of pages, depending on the site you’ve requested.

Final design and handover

Finally, I’ll handover the site by providing admin login details and make sure you have everything you need to maintain and add new content to the site. If you need to be trained up then I’ll be happy to do so.

What types of websites are there?

All websites have a primary purpose for the business they serve. For example, you may be a retailer, so need an online store, or you may own a car hire service, so will need a mixture of listing and payment capabilities. Here, I want to quickly explore some common types of websites, to help you gain an understanding of what options there are.
